We are long time residents of Mt. Washington and it's our privilege to give back to the community we live in and serve. Sweets & Meats BBQ is known for supporting local non-profits, specifically with a focus on education.  We offer our support financially, give our time, and through making food and gift certificate donations on a regular basis.

In 2020, amidst the pandemic, we were recognized for our leadership, being resilient, and staying committed to serving our community. We were one of 3 restaurants selected locally by the James Beard Foundation and were awarded with a $15,000 grant.

We were also recognized by the UC Goering Center as a 2020 Family Business Honoree and Anton Gaffney, our Co-Founder and COO, received the coveted Rising Leader award.

If you feel called to make a tax deductible donation to support our work, you can do so easily via MORTAR Cincinnati, a charitable organization.  We graduated from the MORTAR Entrepreneurship Academy in 2015 and are an active Platinum Alumni Member. Through a direct partnership, MORTAR is accepting donations on our behalf and providing you with the ability to deduct 100% of your donation.
